We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious 1st Line Support IT Technician to join our IT Support team based in Farnham, Surrey where you’ll need the skills to provide support solutions via telephone and remote support. Very occasionally there maybe onsite visits.
You will be providing a varied range of technical support to an external customer base predominately based around Microsoft technologies.
The successful 1st / 2nd Line Support IT Technician will have at least 2 years previous IT Support experience and be a logical thinker. You will be able to demonstrate problem solving skills in a time-efficient matter. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, telephone manner, and a good command of the English language. You will be a polite, presentable individual, with a dynamic, go-getting attitude towards work. You will have the ability to work well individually or in a team. You will need to be a punctual individual, with the ability to meet deadlines, and administration skills should be of the highest standard.
We offer 20 days holiday + bank holidays which rises 1 additional day per year to a maximum of 25 days holiday.
In-house training towards Microsoft certification
Mileage expenses for travel to client sites is paid at £0.40 per mile
