Cyber Essentials accredited IT support company PurpleJelly is committed to learning new technologies and best practices so that our clients have confidence in our abilities to react to the issues they face in their industries and markets. We consider ourselves business partners and not just support providers, so that means investing in our own skillsets and services that we provide.
We are pleased to announce that we are now Cyber Essentials Accredited!
Being Cyber Essentials Accredited means we can help our clients implement basic levels of protection against cyber-attack, demonstrating to our clients that we take cyber-security extremely seriously.
There are two tiers to the accreditation process;
- Cyber Essentials – an independently verified self-assessment. Organisations assess themselves against five basic security controls and a qualified assessor verifies the information provided.
- Cyber Essentials PLUS – a higher level of assurance. A qualified and independent assessor examines the same five controls, testing that they work in practice by simulating basic hacking and phishing attacks.
PurpleJelly are currently accredited at the Cyber Essentials stage and will be Cyber Essentials Plus by the end of August 2017.
We can now officially demonstrate our abilities in protecting our clients against unskilled internet based attackers using commodity capabilities which are freely available on the internet.
With this new set of accreditations, we are striving for excellence in the field of internet and cyber-security protection for all our clients against a growing and ever-increasing threat of viruses and attacks.
If you’d like to join us and mitigate the risks from cyber threats then take a look at becoming Cyber Essentials certified.
